Attention: Bar-B-Que Cookers

The East Montgomery County Fair Officers and Committee Chairmen would like to take this time to welcome you for the 2017 BBQ Cook-off, Rodeo, and Fair. Your participation helps to make our event a success year after year.

There are a couple major changes to the Cook-off this year:
*The dates of the cook-off are Sept. 22 & 23, 2017
*Judging will be sanctioned by IBCA.

As many of you know our Cook-off is at capacity level each year with a waiting list of teams that would like to participate. In order to accommodate the number of teams we have anxious to participate, we have set an entry deadline of Thursday, August 3, 2017. The entry form along with release and entry fee payment must be received by this date or turned in at the fair grounds on Thursday, August 4 between 6:00 – 8:00pm. The entry forms, release of liability, and rules and regulations are attached or available on the website at www.emcfa.com. If you do not meet this deadline your spot will NOT be guaranteed for the 2017 Cook-off.

We will again offer one case of Budweiser Products in 16 oz. aluminum bottles to each team with completed entry form and paid fees. Please specify your choice of product on the entry form. You may pre-order beer at $25.00/case which must be paid with entry. The price at the Cook-off will be $30.00/case and limited to availability on site.

Please remember it is MANDATORY that all teams have a working fire extinguisher visible and in good working order.
